All individuals can learn to administer the office of their calling. A preacher may or may not be a gifted administrator, but he or she can achieve a baseline of essential administration. If one’s ability to administer the responsibility is lower than that baseline and the preacher accepts this of himself or herself, that ministry will settle into mediocrity. This is a learned behavior and no one can use the excuse “I’m just a poor administrator.”
