Robin Johnston shares his expertise of the history of the United Pentecostal Church International and the early foundations of the Pentecostal and Oneness Pentecostal movements. This video course and the book share the rich history of the people of the name Jesus.
Some years ago, at a symposium on Oneness Pentecostalism held at Harvard University, an Eastern Orthodox scholar declared that the United Pentecostal Church had done a commendable job of preserving its history. He stated that it was unusual for such a young organization to have documented its history and beliefs so well. In response to critics of the movement, he urged Oneness Pentecostals not to betray their identity by conforming to other religious groups but rather to continue to proclaim their unique message.
